Flora folio

My friend, Carolina, who has grown this plant from a recent cutting, says its name is flora folio. Well, I can't find it on line anywhere to confirm that. It is a beautiful flower with a short bloom life, gently scented.
Carolina says the root is a known poison locally. It does well in poor soil. And that's about all I can tell you. Anyone here know more?

Folio in Spanish means a sheet of paper. Here in Indiana we have paperwhites, but they belong to the narcissus family and are a much smaller bloom. Your picture reminds me of a lily. It is very beautiful. JAH

Our house used to be filled with plants, cyclamen and poinsettias especially, until the kitties began playing with them. So many are poison to Punta! One of our cats even beheads the silk plant substitutes.

Yessir. And difenbachia, too. I have almost no plants in the house and include chaya leaves and carrot in her food so she's not tempted.

I don't know what it is, but looks like from lily or hibiscus family!

More of the lily, I'd guess from the basic plant structure. The petals are as thin as some morning glories.
